Of course he can... He's a much much better technician, has more punching power, Chin is about equal, has more experience...... Doesnt look good for MArtinez.... But i do like martinez..
Lets Linares fight someting good first to to say he can, he had fought nobodies and i thik he will stay that way fighting nobodies. Punching power is very avarege, at least martinez had stopped good fighters. Experience yes but no by a lot.
I still think Linares beat Martinez. But Linares hasn't prove anyting to me so he is still a protected conteder.
it seems you only like fighters that only faced cab drivers and japanese food delivery guys. Linares is a joke.
Not really pal:nono .. Wait how did i know that youll show up in this thread.. I dont just like those type of fighters... Anyway what's wrong with being a fan of an unestablished fighter??? FYI my main soildiers are: 1. Juan Manuel Marquez 2. Nonito Donaire 3. Floyd Mayweather 4. R-rated Kendall holt :deal
theres nothing wrong with being a fan of any fighter, but you shouldnt forget that Linares and Valero as of now they havent acomplished nothing and some people talk like theyre elite fighters when clearly isnt the case.
as of now he isnt but he hasnt been a pro for two years, while Valero and Linares have been pros for almost seven years and they continue to fight bums. although i have to say that Valero seems like hes making an effort to step up his comp by leaving Japan to fight in the States and signing with GBP.
He fights for Top Rank not GBP. He is however on the GBP promoted Light-weight Lightning card April 4th. And yes he was in Japan because he had to wait to finally get licensed in the states again which is why he had no choice but to fight all over the world for the last 4 years. :rasta
It's because Valero kicked the GBP Ceo's ass during sparring... True story.. Prior to the pacman fight, Hoya breifly used Valero as a sparring partner and ended up getting his ass beat with a black eye... true story.. To make things even worse, Valero was supposed to keep quiet about it but instead, he told the media.. :rofl That's why he isn't getting signed to GBP anytime soon..
Victor Ortiz gave DLH a black eye as well and he's still employed and getting pushed for it. It has more to do with the fact that Arum promised Valero a track to Pac and that's the fight Edwin wants.
