    Round 2

Pretty hair exchange, Canales stepping in and trying to rough Romero up but getting the worst of it. Hard hooks to the body by Romero. Canales is slapping up top with both hands, but getting ripped with uppercuts as Romero steps back. Now Canales lands with a left to the cheek. Romero keeps throwing straighter shots down the middle and uppercuts to the body. Canales is landing a bit more now, but still only one for every three or four by Romero. Nice double hook to face and body by Romero. Wild swinging by Canales, getting countered with straight rights but laying a few of his overhands on Romero. Good action, a bit sloppy at times. Body shots accepted and delivered. Combos by Romero. Big home run swings by Canales.

    20-18 Romero

    Round 3

Hooks and uppercuts by Romero. Overhands and piston thrusts by Canales. Romero slaps with quick flicked combos to the face and then digs in with hooks to the body. Canales is just absorbing everything and pushing ahead, loading up on big overhands. Romero starts to swarm him with even greater output, drowning all his efforts and not even allowing him to load up. Canales looks shaky. Romero is landing with both hands from outside, pushing Canales back. Hard left hook downstairs. 1-2 to the face by Romero. Jabs and uppercuts by Romero. Canales flops in with his own uppercut, but doesn't have much on it. Canales digs down deep and throws a long volley, landing flush with a good left hook!

    30-27 Romero

Canales is a bit out of it; he went to the wrong corner.

Romero's chief second is rapidly spinning a rolled-up towel to create some wind in his face as he sits on his stool.

    Round 4

Intense pressure by Romero, in Canales' face and tapping all over him with both fists. Canales pushes out with a jab and then curls up into a ball as Romero keeps punching. Slow right hand by Canales grazes Romero. Slaps land all over Canales' head as Romero pours it on thick.

    The ref waves it off.

    TKO4.

Quick stoppage, but he was to tough for his own good. Dudes a warrior and maybe was saved from himself plus those body punches were starting to take a toll

I'd say that one and Periban vs. Diaz were right about in the same neighborhood.

Both guys were getting totaled, and unlike Diaz this Canales guy didn't even have the knockdown to his credit (nor had he won a single minute or really had any great moments...)

    Round 1

Damn, Guerrero is like twice his size. This is just silly. It's like Paul Williams vs. Steve Forbes. Guerrero has to bend his knees just to jab level with Uribe's head. Quick left hook floors Uribe. He's up - hooked in the face again, and floored again.

    Over.

    TKO1
