    Come on son that was a home cooked meal for Thompson. The doctor didn't even look at the cut he just waived the fight off immediately. Linares was hurt but the fight shouldn't have been stopped because of that cut.

    He could have done better. I give Thompson all the credit in the world for seizing the advantage when landing his overhand rights over the shoulder of Jorge's low left and following up with great combinations, but Jorge wasn't being disciplined, and I don't know if being so quick to blame Freddie really rings true.

    Dam that is going to be tough for Linares to come back after getting ko'ed twice in a row.

    I feel awful for Linares....seems like a real good kid too. He has the talent to come back in a year or two though.

    BS, Linares had enough composure to stay down and take the full 8 count, his eyes looked fine. The doc was there to look at the cut and he simply waved the fight off without looking at it closely.
