I initially said this may not be aimed at you. Somebody mentioned his reach. I too think Lomachenko should handle Linares. Linares, as I've stated hasn't fought anybody since losing to DeMarco and Thompson. I know weight classes go by weight/mass. I said a man 5'3 can move up two weight classes to fight a guy 5'7, but a guy 5'7, won't move up two weight classes to fight a guy 5'8 and change. Loma should stay at SFW then. Personally, I believe he has the skills to move up and challenge himself. He's not old, he is in his prime. I simply pointed out that 5'7 is a height that is fairly common all the way up to middleweight. Loma isn't Paul Williams skinny. And back to my original point, yes people on this forum pick and choose, depending on the fighter, to say he is too small for the weight, or he is too big for the weight or whatever. Recall people falsely claiming that Nicholas Walters was a huge huge welterweight fighting at 126. In reality, Walters was about par for the course in terms of size for a featherweight. There were quite a few guys ranked in the top 20 at the time, who were bigger than he was, who weighed more than he did come fight time. Yet when Donaire got chopped down, people on this forum and other, claimed Walters was a welterweight fighting at 126. There must have been eight or nine welterweight fighting at 126 with him then, during that timeframe.

Anyway, Oscar will play his games & all this will be for nothing anyway! Bob you better get the substitutes on stand by... Dealing with Oscar leads to nothing but headache. Corrupt snake. I dislike that gender bender immensely. Very creepy guy..

Im sure he canbe competitive in spots but his thin skin probably will not hold up to the assault. Majority here thinks its a foregone conclusion, amazing since nobody knows how Loma carries 135.

It is valid. Lomachenko has short arms and he's quite skinny. And please stop talking about the height only because
Mike Tyson is 5′ 10″, omg!

I’m not saying Lomachenko is gunna be making the excuse, his fans will. He seems quite realistic to be honest.

Your spot on about people taking the credit away from the other fighter, someone said Usyk fought the way he did to entertain us rather than looking at the things Briedis did well to force Usyk to fight that way.

When a fighter moves up and win he gets all the credit so when he loses then that’s his bad too. I hate this weight bullying arguments people put forward.

Linares' best wins last 6 years since last defeat:
    -Anthony Crolla X2
    -Luke Campbell
    -Kevin Mitchell
    -Mercito Gesta
    -Nihito Arakawa

Turned it around since that mid-career rut where he was routinely brought up for having "glass skin." He is skilled and accomplished within the Lightweight division but for someone respected and ranked as he is, I don't know, he hasn't ever had a huge fight on the stage vs. Lomachenko would be. Not his fault but Lightweight has been dreadful for some years. Lomachenko ballsy to move up and face the top guy straight away though, no question. It would be fun to see them strafe each other with that speed.

He's got a very solid resume overall. Oscar Larios is probably his best win.
