Should be easy work for loma id rather had seen him face berchelt at 130 first and try to unify but oh well. Linares cant outbox loma nor can he knock him out and hes chinny and cuts. Loma tko 7

You act surprised! I think very highly of Loma. I said before the Rigo fight that if he won, Loma deserved the #1 spot. Loma is the man!

I'm not among those giving Linares zero chance.

    I give him like 12%.

Should be a good one. I'm hoping Lomachenko loses - for two reasons:

    - a reality check for his over-excitable fans (I've no issue with the man himself, quite like him in fact)
    - sets up a great second fight, so we get to see it all over again.

Glad TR finally became reasonable and allowed GBP to finally go through with this fight.

Lomachenko will win this fight with his fantastic skills, but I wish he could have fought the other champions at 130 before going up. This will be his first fight at 135, he has come up from 126, would like to see him fight more fights...................

    Excellent post Farmboxer!!

Best post I've seen all day actually.

Lomachenko is an excellent fighter. He definitely is the most talented and skilled fighter today. Linares is at least one level below Loma in terms of skill.

I also wish he would have fought the other fighters at 130, especially Berchelt. It would have been interesting to see Loma attempt to take over SFW. I hope he's just positioning himself for a showdown with Mikey Garcia, but perhaps I'm being to optimistic.

Many props to Loma for fighting the man at LW, not as deep as SFW but still at least he's facing Linares not some journeyman.

Oh, yeah, at 30 years old already, he should have waited a couple more years for that guy whom even on this forum people sometimes call Beltran. Berchelts, Beltrans — they come and they go, but Loma is one of a kind.
Or maybe he should've waited till Davis is "ready"? Thankfully Tank's ass will be too fat for 130 very soon anyway, lol.
And Berchelt, by the way, is bigger than Loma, so, if he really wants it (I doubt it), they can fight at 135.

This is going to be a top rank show, Bob Arum judges, so I'd say he's back down to 1%

The thing I’m mostly excited about is the winner is mandatory for Mikey, that’s the fight which can propel Loma into greatness if he wins. I hope these two don’t duck each other if Loma wins.
