Jorge Linares vs Vasyl Lomachenko set for may 12th in MSG

Berchelt is ducking him so no reason not to move up now. Now that their fight is becoming more of a real possibility, I expect Mikey to start becoming irrational and say and do anything to avoid Loma.

 

Only a moron or an individual with a terribly transparent agenda would even intimate that Lomachenko was/is somehow reluctant to lace ' em up against Berchelt, a game but largely unexceptional opponent.

I suspect that you suffer from quite a bit of both .

Not based on what he has actually achieved as a pro, it isn't. He's a phenomenal talent, but I'll wait until the end of his career to form my opinion about him. All this ATG bull**** is just youtube hype for now.

This will be a very solid and respectable win for loma, sets up the mikey garica fight perfectly and the Garcia fight is a true mega fight for boxing fans, that fight is the ward v kovalev, GGG v canleo of the 135lb division just with less belts.

 

You know he's fought no world beaters what so ever at 135. If he is top class we have no proof, as his resume is filled with cans, fringe contenders, and UK domestic level guys.

 

Really? I have only seen three things from Berchelt regarding wanting to face Loma. One was an interview right before the Rigo fight where he gave his prediction, one online article when he was being considered for a Loma fight and one article after his last fight. I’ve seen numerous videos and articles from Linares calling out Loma and talking about how he believes he would beat Loma easily.

 

This fight has my mouth watering! Two of the best highly skilled fighters in boxing squaring off, you can't get MUCH better than that, except if the winner fights Mikey next!

 

Wish Lomachenko would have cleaned out the 130 lb. division first, but it looks as if this fight is really going to happen...................watch out for corrupt judges, but other than that, Lomachenko is far superior skill wise.................Lomachenko will beat Linares, should be a good fight though, Linares will be huge compared to Lomachenko, but hell, Lomachenko wanted to fight Mikey Garcia!

From one Loma fan to another, don't you find it disappointing that Loma and Berchelt never fought? Two SFW champions, MB being the true champ in the division. Did Loma even acknowledge MB or did he pretend he didn't exist?
