I doubt Rios will fight Linares.

Rios will duck Linares, just like Rios has ducked Juan Diaz, Victor Ortiz, John Murray and so many others.

To this day, Rios has not fought a top-notch fighter.

    Miguel Acosta was a B-level boxer-puncher.
Urbano Antillon was a B-level slow punching brawler.
Anthony Peterson was an overrated wanna-be contender with a padded record.

put Rios in the ring with Juan M Marquez, Humberto Soto and you'll see what Rios is really made off.

Until then, Rios has yet to be tested.

    Its no sarcasm.

Juan Diaz called out Brandon Rios many times and Rios ducked him.

Diaz went as far as calling out Rios on Rios'

account, and Rios still ducked him.

Here are true copies of the

John Murray also called out Rios.

Would be an interesting fight. Linares alot of talent, but hasnt proven himself yet. Soto would be a good test for him.

You're serious too lmao. Gtfooh. Anyway, Linares will be a tough out for Rios. Linares imo will feel better at 135.

Good fight, though Linares hasn't done anything to earn a title shot and doesn't have a following to make him an attractive option for Rios.

    Doubt it happens anytime soon.

Rios will beat the **** out of Linares period! He didn't look good in his last fight and has not looked good for a while to be honest. Linares got all the tools but he's still looking for his ring identity.

Ok with Antillon being B-level but not Acosta. He's a very skilled and quick boxer-puncher who tested Rios in their fight. JMM is fighting Pacquiao next and Soto moved up.

Linares has a weak chin and Rios would walk him down and win inside 5 rounds

Soto refused to fight Antillon in a rematch, cause Top Rank and ZANFER owed him more than a million dollars, and if he wouldve fought Antillon, it wouldve automatically extended his promotional contract, and they would have kept ripping off Soto.

Soto also jumped to 140lbs because he vacated the 135lbs WBC Belt, because the #1 mandatory contender to the WBC 135lbs belt is Sotos' cousin-Antonio DeMarco.

Soto has said since last year, that he'll never fight his family member/cousin-DeMarco.

Soto has also said, that he wants to be the 1st Mexican to win a 4th World title at a different division-140lbs.

The only reason Soto stayed at 135lbs a bit long, was cause he was trying to get a Unification bout with the other Lighweight Champion-Juan M Marquez, but JMM chickened-out and ducked Soto, like he;s done for the last 3 years, just like Pacman has ducked Soto for years.

About ****ing time Linares stepped up. I don't believe the KO exposed anything except that anyone can go down if they're caught just right. Linares is a goddam beast and I LOVE to watch him fight.
