    He has basically no chance. I dont see him having enough pop to keep Rios off him and will get ground down.

    Jorge Linares is as big of a name as his countryman-Miguel Acosta is, if not, bigger name than Acosta, whom fought Rios already.

    Rios is just "cherrypicking" has beens, or no-goods.

    Linares has good lateral movement and is a crisp puncher.

    Thats why Rios is ducking him, and would rather fight a "batlle-worned/shop-worned" Katsidis.

    id rather see katsidis over linares and soto. diaz is pretty much done too. but at least katsidis will provide action

    That's quite brave of Linares considering he was KTFO lickety split by a smaller and inferior fighter. :think

    Linares undoubtedly has a great deal more boxing skill than Rios, but that really won't matter here (whereas JMM has both the skill and durability to compete with Bam Bam). I don't see how he avoids getting beaten to a pulp, to be honest.

    Your just mad cuz rodrigo probably dropped your kid in sparring a few times and probably ruined his confidence.

    Rios Knocks out anybody at 135.

    rodrigo is overrated. he chickened out from the rios-antillon undercard.
    his dad is gonna keep fighting him in mexico, like he's done in the past, cause he's pappi doesnt think his son can compete against the fighters in CA, where he was born.

    Rios has ducked many tough challenges at 135.
    Rios ducked Juan Diaz, John Murray, and others.
    Now, Rios is waiting for Katsidis to fight in August, and then fight the worned-out Katsidis.
    Katsidis has already lost 2 of his last 2 fights (1 by KO to JMM), and now will be used as a "stepping stone" for the cherrypicking-Rios.:patsch

    Linares would outbox and play with Rios.
