Seriously. Ok tko in 1 against nobody (who was undefeated himself). **** happens. Come back stronger from it right? Then he makes his comeback (which I did not get to see yet), and from what I've read, he just scraped by Fransico Lorenzo's remains. Dunno if it was an old veteran making one last stand or Linares just not prepared. The reason why I'm coming on this strong for this guy, is he seemed like such an amazing prospect that it shocks the **** out of me to see him go from smashing everyone, to see whats happened with his last two fights. Does anyone know if he's had a massive change in his personal life recently or has he changed trainers or something?
Well maybe his glossy record and all the things I read about him got me a little sucked into the hype. But he hadnt ever really had a close fight. I know he beat Larios convincingly, and he easily handled your typical fw/sfw journeymen in "title" fights.
It's kinda funny actually. I remember hearing that Linares was the next big thing and he would KO Gamboa and KO Guererro and KO this guy and that guy. Next he gets sparked by some nobody who gets sparked by a nobody in the very next match. He was good but most the talk was just that, talk. But I'm sure he will be back.
