How good was this guy in his prime? If you have to compare him with some actual boxer who would it be??
He could had been not the best but a great fighter, the problem was that he used to drink and just live life regular, eating whatever. I heard from friends that they used to see him get drunk a day before his fights. I loved when he avoided punches moving his waist, he was so funny. It was always exciting to see what type of outfit he will show up with. I loved when he wore the bride's dress. Just the best, he was the circus man and I miss him a lot. I remember when someone hold him and he started **** him them in the ring and when someone started running he will stay at the ropes and acting like he was tired of fchasing them. I wish he was here to fight mayweather, he would make him look so dumb and his son I thought at the beginning he was going to be the next big thing but I made a mistake, he didnt have it. There is only one ant the only one Jorge Maromero Paez.
I liked the video, I have not seen him in a while Did you see how the referee looked at him? He was like "what the **** is wrong with this guy" Do you know what I love FEA on his shorts meant?
if you are true fan of past 20 years you know if he had little more power we would be talking atg none the less boarderline hof gave alot to this great sport
Paez was the only boxer I have seen flirt with with the ringcard girls between rounds. A true original...........................by the way, Hamed was a cheap immitation of "el Maromero"!
He used to train in La Habra when he would come to LA where Librado Andrade and Enrique Ornelas train.
I seen Jorge Paez, train at L.A. boxing once. Paez was joking around a lot, having everybody cracking up. After he was done with his workout, while walking out of the gym, wearing his big ole 80's eye glasses, he was still joking around and shaking everyone's hands saying good bye, mine included, he is very nice person.
