Moralde is jabbing high and then flailing in with the right, ending up folded in half and slumped forward after missing, with Herring taking pot shots with the 1-2 and right hook. Herring is scudding his right jab down from low on Moralde's chest to his waistband. Moralde is pushing out with his left arm to stave Herring off and looking to feed his right hand down the middle when Herring comes pushing in, with limited success. Herring able to score from medium-long range consistently without much speed or nimbleness in his footwork, just plodding in and out essentially.

Round 6

Moralde is starting to get lit up by combinations as Herring comes forward and mixes to body and head. Moralde is now backing up, pawing out the left glove to check Herring's right jab, and tying him up on the inside. Herring scoring right hooks to finish his combos. Moralde breathing heavily, countering Herring's long distance body shots with lunging line drive rights and sometimes connecting but clearly feeling the brunt of Herring's shots more severely.

Round 7

Moralde is diving in and scooping a right hand into Herring's stomach but getting double-jabbed and then clobbered with left hands on the head as he does so. Moralde is facing Herring square-on in a deep squat and doing the "I pooped my pants" waddle forward with the further awkward complication of a holding up a high guard, tops of his fists level with the hairline. Moralde is getting spanked on either side as Herring just ladles the leather in from either side, reaching around while looming over Moralde or sinking partway to his level in a mirror of his squat.
