Round 1

Ramírez is controlling with his jab from the gate. Orozco is caught by a couple and claps his gloves together, nodding to egg himself on pushing into the fray and throwing leather with both hands as Ramírez establishes a rhythm circling wide around him and lining up shots carefully. Ramírez working straight combos downstairs, and then doubles a left hook, and converts a left uppercut into the broad underside of the jaw in counter as Orozco wades in with his own fat left hook. BIG shots ripped into the head by Ramírez stepping forward. Orozco battles him off with a series of thumping right hands on the chest, prying Ramírez off and sending him backward a few steps. BIG left hook by Ramírez, loudly reverberating throughout Save Mart Arena, but somehow Orozco doesn't even flinch despite taking it flush. Orozco is throwing combos, leading with the right hand, occasionally stuffing it just below Ramírez's chin, into his throat.

Round 2

Ramírez staggers Orozco into the ropes as they answer the bell just as hungrily as they finished the first. Ramírez opens up but Orozco curls into a shell and weathers it, then comes out swinging. Orozco is hanging in with Ramírez and they are jabbing each other in the face in a phone booth, having to lean slightly outside to wind up and nock the arrow, then let it fly. Ramírez is taking a step out with his rear foot, planting it, and then surging in with a 1-2. Orozco is countering with a left hook, and then drilling a right hand into Ramírez's mouth. HEAVY left slash at the liver by Ramírez, turning it over with his full body weight. Both landing monster shots, but Ramírez the speedier and cleaner stuff (and in higher volume, although Orozco might be throwing a little more)
