Ramirez lost the intensity there, interesting...

    Round 5

Ramírez is circling and then ducking and swirling in front of Orozco, razzle-dazzling him with surprise jabs and right hands from various angles and altitudes. Orozco is forcing Ramírez to stand and brawl where he can, heaving right hands across the gap and then swinging for the fences with the left hook once he gets inside. Ramírez is countering with his own left hook every time Orozco telegraphs one, and they land simultaneously with the force of a high speed truck wreck. Orozco blinking off all of Ramírez's best shots but cracks starting to show in his resistance.

This is why Golovkin calling any of his fights "Mexican style" is a little cringe. Golovkin has never had a fight like this in his life.

Then again, neither has Canelo (and it would be just as cringe if he billed a fight of his under that exact tagline, even though he might ostensibly have more of a claim to it by way of nationality)

    Round 6

Ramírez is sharpshooting as Orozco tracks clockwise, directly in front of him, feeding out jabs like a Pez dispenser. Ramírez is blocking nearly all of the jabs and countering them with straight headhunting combos. Orozco is short on ideas, ducking outside as Ramírez chases with a jab to his temple. Orozco then ducks and scrambles inside again, getting in Ramírez's chest, and surprises him with a nice lead right.

Orozco is slowly crawling back into it. But is it too little too late?

I think the 6th might have been Orozco's best round since the second. He landed some nice shots that weren't mentioned at all by the commentators.

Can't tell if Ramirez is running out of gas or conserving energy for another big push.

    Round 7

Ramírez is landing hooks and rights while posting up to Orozco's sides, using his quicker legs to get there and get off before Orozco can twist in his crouch and spring up to attack. Ramírez is missing right hands now as Orozco ducks low and comes up firing with the right hand. Ramírez is skimming jabs against the guard, but persists, and snaps Orozco's head back with the sixth one after five consecutive wasters. Orozco is clapping his fists together as he jots from side to side and then dashes in to score a right hand. Ramírez jolts him with his own right splitting the guard before the bell.
