    Yeah, shutouts (or arguable shutouts) IMO are generally ineligible to be considered FOTY candidates ...but this was as exciting as it gets for a 120-106 type fight. :sisi1

    What a difference a year makes (or just ten months!)

    As of this same time in 2017, you'd be forgiven if you said Ramírez had a padded record of 20-0, especially for a hyped Olympian signed to a big promoter with a famous coach. Then he goes on a run of three consecutive fights against WBC ranked light welterweights boasting a combined 71-1 (47) record and now his résumé is looking nice.
