Fight fans are by and large neanderthal idiots. If you dont fight to the edge of death to entertain them, they boo you. Some guys actually have the ability to box in a matter that doesnt expose them to explosive brain damage by age 35...and they get booed for having those options. Davis was putting it on him against the ropes and did land a couple of big left hooks to which Ricardo had big dramatic rubber necked reactions, but the Panamanian would recover in the next instant and never really stopped defending himself. It could probably have gone on, if Davis' flurry sputtered out and they reset...and it could've wound up being mildly competitive, from the look of the round and a half that we did get..
