Postol with the much cleaner work throughout the round. Ramírez pressuring but his punch selection isn't effective at all.

Back and forth round, Ramírez getting the better out of it. He's ripping the body of Postol and landing some hard hooks on top. Postol with some jabs and also attempting a few 1,2s but he's not having much success and he can't keep it up with Ramírez over three minutes.

Postol struggling more and more with the pressure and output. He's still moving well but his offense is almost non-existent. Ramírez has him at the ropes a couple of times unloading with massive 1,2s. Postols output = zero. Postol trying his best in the last 20 seconds but not enough.

Postol starts well and landing several jabs and a huge counter hook but getting tagged more and more and rocked by some combos. Ramírez landing cleaner and cleaner, his jab is also landing more and more while Postol fighting in spots and bursts. Ramírez outworking him pretty easily.

Some nice jabs from Ramírez early. His jab is getting better and better as the fight goes on. While he was barely touching Postol in the first few rounds with his jab he's now snapping his head back several times. Postol moving backwards and just using the jab as a feint to create distance. His legs looking a lot better this round as he's moving lighter in & out. It looks like Ramírez is taking one off here, he's still coming forward but his output is lower than the rounds before and he can't really seperate himself from Postol like he did it the last three rounds. Big uppercut by Ramírez, Postol responding with a well timed jab. Ramírez finishing well. Close round. Personally i liked Ramírez work a lot more, especially his jab was doing more damage.

Postol started well in the first minute and landed several straight right hands on top but again he got lazy in the second and third minute. Ramírez outworked him by a mile and was beating him up quite a bit in the last minute.

Beautiful left hook to the body, right uppercut combo by Ramírez. Postol not doing much. Pretty disappointing second half by the Iceman. Yeah, he's landing some nice jabs here and there but it isn't enough to win any of those rounds. Getting pressured and outworked is one thing if you land some clean jabs but Ramírez is also tagging him with big shots all the time. Nice 1,2 by Postol but he's not following up at all. Nice combo on top by Ramírez to finish the round.

    Round 12: 10-9 Postol close

Postol nailed him with several straight rights but getting tagged back to the body in the second half which slowed him down and shut down the offense again. Postol finishes well though. Close round. Postol overall was doing the better work.

    116-112 Ramírez

115-113 is fine as well. Personally, i do not feel a draw here. I think Ramírez won the fight. Postol wasn't doing much in the second half and Ramírez output and pressure was impressive. A 114-114 would be super super generous to Postol. I had four close rounds and split them 2-2 between Ramírez and Postol which should be fair. If you give all 4 to Postol it is some kind of a stretch.

    Official Scorecards:
    116-112 Ramírez
    115-113 Ramírez
    114-114 even

I like the cards. Very good decision.

Nah. Really good decision. Ramirez won clearly on my second card. I had it closer the first time though but i was probably very tired back then and not really scoring accurately. Didn't even had a scorecard in my documents just a "7-5 Postol / 6-6 even with some closer rounds". I wanted it to rewatch all the time but didn't find the time but this week is a good fit considering we'll see the big superfight on Saturday/Sunday.

Worst scoring of this fight I've seen to date. Clearly you tried to give Postol as little credit as humanly possible.

I have zero recollection of watching this fight but apparently was quite fired up and opinionated about it last August.
