Opening round Rikiishi with his height and reach advantage staying outside and trying to catch Nunez every time he rushes in. Nunez on the other hand, not trying to get caught, uses his left to parry Rikiishi's right and step in with his right hand. Nunez managed to land several decent power shots around the last minute and edged it.

Rikiishi, moving around with a bit more confidence as he catches Nunez with decent counters. Nunez perhaps too aggressive in his work this round.

Nunez, cutting the ring and pin Rikiishi against the ropes is proving to be quite the difficult task. Rikiishi with excellent movement and defense. Nunez landed good body shots and he is shortening the distance, but Rikiishi is meeting fire with fire.

Rikiishi still on the back foot and trying to deflect and counter the Mexican's shots. Nunez on his part has seemed to find the sweet spot with how to deal with Rikiishi's uppercuts and hook and snapped Rikiishi's head a few times.

Inside action as Nunez has finally forced Rikiishi in a fire fight. Nunez bullies Rikiishi for most of the round, Rikiishi fires back. Tough exchanges from both.
