    Key for Plant is energy management....Uzcat doesn't get discouraged and can go 12 hard rounds. Don't shoot your load early.

    If I'm Jose, I try to turn the heat up early. Try to stop Plant from getting comfortable in his first time on a stage this big

    Uzcátegui pushes the lead right and 1-2 past the Plant jab and tries grabbing him to pull in close. Plant resists, shrugging him off and scoring with sharp 1-2s and 1-2-3s from a partial crouch. Uzcátegui down!! He rises quickly, flash knockdown (as in he wasn't hurt) but legit nonetheless (as in 100% caused by a punch). Plant beating Uzcátegui to the punch consistently, all while remaining out of his reach, very nice footwork on the outside, gliding along the ropes, baiting Uzcátegui with jabs. BIG right hand by Uzcátegui gets through but Plant rides it well, sagging momentarily into the ropes and then spinning toward center ring, again resuming control with his jab. Uzcátegui looks for an opening, misses a jab, then a big can-opener hook falling in. Counter jabs by Plant.
