TV5 commentators' unofficial scorecard gave Ancajas round 11 and Santiago round 12.

I didn't catch all the rounds in between. I know they had Ancajas up by three after four.

So they have it probably a draw or for Ancajas..

Lmfao this is exactly like the Palicte-Nietes fight. And like that fight, I also scored it a draw! This is ****ing hilarious.

Wow, Santiago fought a great fight and should legit be the champion now. I feel bad for him, bad decision, the guy fought the fight of his life and looked the boss almost all fight.

    Michael Tate 116-112 Ancajas
    Marshall Walker 118-111 Barrios
    Chris Wilson 114-114

I think Marshall Walker's score is a little wide for Santiago at 118-111 but it makes a hell of a lot more sense than does Tate's 8-4 to Ancajas.

Poor mother****er is now saddled with FIVE draws - more than a fifth of his pro bouts have ended this way! 21.7%!

I mean it was a close fight in that Santiago didn't outright smash Ancajas, but I felt he clearly won 7-8 rounds. A draw is a very favorable decision for Jerwin.

Wait, the commercial for Sunday's card (Dave Peñalosa vs. Twalib Shabani Tuwa) just listed it as starting at 1pm local time in the PI??!!

That is 1am EST. So what time do I need to set my alarm to catch the main event?? :dunno

I missed rounds 7-10 but even if Ancajas swept them, a title retention is hard to swallow for me.

I had it a draw i can see Ancajas did enough to get a draw.

But i can also see how Santiago few eye catching punching could have got him a close win.

But to me neither guy did enough to get a defining win. Because Santiago would get a good lick in maybe one or two shots. Then goes on his bike for the rest of the round.

You could argue that far better than someone with the same argument for Jerwin. Santiago's rounds were clear, winning them by landing the bigger shots, mostly right hands that kept landing and landing. Ancajas' rounds were closely edged by punches from distance that had appeared to have less effect on the opponent and these rounds were mostly when Santiago had a lull and was merely plodding forward and letting Jerwin throw jabs and 1-2s as he came in. I can't say Santiago clearly won 7-8 rounds or that he won at all, because of course I scored it a draw, but he definitely had a better argument for winning. Jerwin had to win the last three on my card to scrape a draw and that's what he did. I need a rematch because this was a pretty good fight, unexpectedly.

Santiago won arguably the first half (although I can see how most feel Ancajas edged the sixth, even though it was still close), with four of those rounds very clearly his, and you could argue him sweeping the championship rounds. A draw is kind of worst case scenario for him.
