Round 7

Uzcátegui applying pressure now and playing mind games, letting his arms dangle low as he shuffles forth like a zombie, even swaying a little, head lolling, almost daring Maderna to start teeing off. Maderna is reticent about opening up, wisely, as Uzcátegui is more than capable of zapping him with a counter before he can even blink. Uzcátegui does so even when Maderna paws out a tentative jab, somehow converting that into an opportunity to light him up with half a dozen unanswered straights to his face. Maderna tries covering up and twisting/rolling against the ropes but Uzcátegui just skewers his ribs and peppers his face, making small adjustments for any positional change made by Maderna. Uzcátegui's hand speed and reflexes are just blinding compared to Maderna's.

Round 8

Uzcátegui is trotting after Maderna, catching jabs on his left glove and then following Maderna's arm while he's retracting it back with a 1-2-1 (all scoring before Maderna has finished spooling in his measuring tape, mind you). Uzcátegui is carrying his gloves low to save energy and pitching his shoulders forward, bobbing to either side on the way in, making for a humorous monkeyish sort of gait as he stalks and sharpshoots, never squared up to stand directly in the way of Maderna's basic flurries.

Round 9

Uzcátegui is making Maderna miss while walking him down, just flexing a shoulder in either direction and sinking a little of his body weight to shift himself the needed half-inch or so to let the jab or right hand whistle methodically by him, and then springing forth with blistering counters. Maderna is just eating it all up like a wedding crashing hobo at the buffet table. Uzcátegui is landing impressively well considering he's throwing lead rights from practically down by his own heel on the frontfoot.

Round 10

Uzcátegui is punching into the jab of Maderna, deflecting it far afield, then picking at Maderna's bones with both hands. Maderna is exposing himself every time he throws something but is still bravely, determinedly summoning the courage to let those hands go as he circles away, even as Uzcátegui stuffs double and triple jabs into his mouth and rips his torso with slashing rights.
