Jose Aldo in consideration for best p4p MMA?

He'd clearly be in the top 10 but no not near #1 for me, as we saw with the rise and fall of Faber and Brown 145 is still a division thats coming together plus now its in the UFC we may well see some prominant LW's move down to shake it up.

Why? He's shown to be about as well-rounded a striker as there is in the sport, while being nearly impossible to take down or control on the ground. He's also shown excellent top control on the ground against any manner of opponent he faces. He just looks to be leagues ahead of all of his counterparts. Edgar is the only one I could see running him close once he moves down to face him probably sometime in 2011.

 

I think it is too soon to rate him so highly.

he has been steamrolling over good competition, but remember this is a division where the last two wec champs looked unbeatable then both of them showed weaknesses- Im not sure if the time has come to crown Aldo a top p4p fighter.

 

How do you know edgar will move down to 145?

Aldo is definetly a very entertaining fighter to watch and seems to have the some of the best striking in his division- aldo vs kid yamamoto for the win!!!
