You mean the Florian fight? The Hominick fight was pretty much a kickboxing match outside of the fifth round, where Hominick took advantage of a gassed Aldo. Aldo was the superior wrestler throughout the first four rounds.

gonna be a good fight. no one in that devision sets up and throws a leg kick like aldo. I dont Frankie is gonna be able to handle it. Frankies not gonna fight his way to a decision like most of his fights. If it does i doubt it will go his way.

It will be interesting to see how Franky applies himself on the feet

If he goes " STRAIGHT " to his wrestling, and looks for a shut out there Aldo could be in the ****, if he does the dancing round thing he's getting his legs kicked off and eventually knocked out

What a fantastic, intriguing stylistic clash !!!

I'm excited for this fight. It's arguably the best 155 versus the best 145.

The power is scary but Frankies endurance and durability, coupled with his wrestling and fast strikes can cause trouble for Jose.

    Frankie for me

he's too intelligent for Aldo imo.

Aldo has the high light reel skills, but Frankie is argubly the smartest fighter in the UFC, he's an ecellent tactician, and he never looses faith even when the going gets tough. I simply couldnt bet against the wee man from Snooky Country.

Two losses. Can hardly fault them with this one though especially after the cutting of the whole 151 card.

Excellent fight, I fancy Edgar in this fight... he beat LW champion Ben Henderson (on my card) in his last fight & has shown himself capable of not only taking the abuse of the bigger guys but actually bettering them... Aldo is in trouble here IMO.

Edgar and easier than expected. This guy has faced the creme dela creme at LW and arguably beat them all. I dont want to hear the Aldo is overatted bs.

Not as bad a match up as some of you guys believe. If Edgar has as easy of a time cutting weight as people think, he will have the better stamina of the two. We already know Aldo will likely be sucking wind by the end of the second round. Edgar will have the best hands that Aldo has yet faced in my opinion. If he can somehow avoid getting his legs damaged, and get Aldo against the cage exerting energy to avoid the take down for a round to round and a half, he will be in good shape. Aldo seems to lose a little speed and crispness as the rounds go on as he tires. He seems to get a bit more flat footed when this happens. If Aldo gets pressed and that cardio issue hasn't been taken care of, watch out!

I think you are exaggerating Aldo's cardio issues just a little bit.
