Hominick with his very technical boxing is good enough to stand and beat any of the kung-fu, shaolin, flying **** that Aldo will throw. If this stays standing up, it'll be interesting. Plus hes a backwoods Canadian, they dont make them any tougher (see Hockey).
haha, yea Homnick's tough and he's been improving but Aldo's a different animal with his speed and agressivness, I hope Homnick can take him but odds are obviously with Aldo.
He wasnt that agressive against Faber, whos stand-up is pretty much non existent. I'll be surprised if hes aggressve against Hominick unless in wanting to take him down. Guys like Maynard, a world class athlete who he can't take down (can take him down at will) and has explosive KO power will be the ones who will give him fits eventually.
Don't underestimate Hominick. He seems to have better timing and accuracy with his hands than Aldo. With that said, I think his knees and kicks are lagging considerably. Aldo should win it, but I won't count Hominick out.
I wouldn't say Fabers stand-up is 'non-existant', with the range Aldo implemented he couldn't use any to set up his takedowns.
