I think it all depends on how Floyd shows up. If he's in the same shape and still at the same level he was when he left, then I don't see how Marquez takes this. Marquez best area is his Boxing ability, but Floyd is on another level. Even if Marquez was able to actually counter Floyd on occasion I don't see him hurting Floyd. The last guy that countered Floyd effectively(even if it was only for 3 or 4 rounds) was Judah, and Marquez don't have pop like Zab to really bother Floyd like that.

Infact, I could even see Floyd getting so comfortable with Marquez, Floyd might start walking him down. Remember Marquez tries to Box his way to victories, when he gets popped good like in the Pacquiao fights, and recently with Diaz, Marquez starts to open up more and agree to make it ugly. I could see Floyd catching Marquez quite often on the way in. Marquez was countered at times by Pacquiao, imagine what Floyd could do. Style wise I don't think Marquez matches up very well. But you might be right, we'll see. It's Boxing, anything and everything happens.

 

He's not Pacquiao who can carry his speed not to mention his power in the higher weight classes.

 

Marquez is not supposed to win this fight. However, if on the level, I give him a good chance for the upset.

That size difference is bigger than Marquez-Floyd.
