It suck's, But dude has to make a living. (The Chico fight's tho classic, Have really broken JLC in many ways)
Its sad because he gave so much in his prime fights and worked so hard for many years to make the weight but now has to continue getting himself more damaged to make ends meet.
It's at 147 most likely so he won't be weight drained but unless he takes him out quick I don't wanna see him take punishment.
Yes I know, I say 'skint' you say financial problems, all the same thing. How though, surely the Chico, Mayweather and Hatton fights alone would rake in millions...thats more than most people earn in a lifetime. Castillo isnt alone it seems to be happening all over the shop, someone told me Rahman was skin the other day, when reports show he got 5mill from the Lewis rematch alone...
I hate the fact that a guy like JLC has to keep fighting in order to make a living. The guy is clearly past it but can't do anything else that will repay his debt.:-(
I havn't seen castillo at that weight i seen him at 140 and he was finished so i would think its even alot worse at 147
The weight isnt the issue for me thunder...JLC is clearly damaged goods. He lost to an ok fighter last time out but the manner of which he lost was worrying. He took sooo many punches...His usually pretty decent defense was gone, he didnt look strong and he appeared slow.
Castillo got heavy fines in corrales vs castillo 3 and 2 i think not sure how bad but that might have something to do with the debt
It had something to do with the Corrales fights where weighed in above the limit..He had to pay out a lot of money and may still have to, that why he continues to fight.
