I'm not talking about the old JLC who had been in many wars who lost to Hatton at 140. I'm talking about the muderous body puncher and inside fighting beast that was a prime JLC. We all know JLC was a big LW and could have fought at 140 with no problems. Would he win against a prime Hatton at 140?

It would be a phone booth fight but I think he would bully Hatton on the inside even at 140. But its one of those fights you have to see cause Hatton(the one that beat Tsyzu) would be a tall order. Great thread and good dream fight but I would lean toward JLC by late stoppage but wouldnt be surprised if Hatton stopped him late.

I'll go with Hatton simply b/c JLC wasn't a Jr WW. He didn't look like he had anything up at 140 just like Corales. Some guys just aren't Jr. WW's and Hatton for what it's worth was a very good, solid 140 Champion.

Pretty simular to the actual fight, maybe a bit tougher. Hatton by ko. Don't think age was the biggest problem for Castillo. More like the size and style of Hatton was the main trouble.

Would end the same way if Hatton lands the same shot. Thats the problem. Castillo (always a slow starter) was getting his rythm when Hatton landed the monster shot. It was a very precise shot which, like it or not, imply some luck (if not, we would see a lot more of those kos).

I say 7 time out of 10, Castillo beats Hatton.

Yeah if Hatton's prime is when he was fighting on his own backyard with his own hometown ref of the KT fight that let him use his dirty tactics then
I don't see how Castillo can win.

But sriously 140 isn't Castillo's prime weight so no matter how overrated Hatton is, he would beat Castillo.
