I like Rios a lot but in his prime Castillo was a scary good pressure fighter who was a lot harder to catch clean than people tend to remember. He was really frustrating slow starter in most of his fights but once he got going around the fourth round he was damn near impossible to beat.

I still remember Castillo nearly beating Cesar Bazan do death in their fight. That was one of the most chilling, damaging, soul crushing massacres I have EVER seen. People tend to think of Bazan as the trial horse he is today, getting dominated by every prospect under the sun but he beat Stevie Johnston and held Johnston to a very close fight in the return and Bazan seemed to be at his very peak when Castillo ripped out his soul.

Castillo by late ko, he was a better pressure fighter than brandon, and it would take its toll eventually.

Rios hasnt even hit his prime yet. Castillo is a proven warrior.

I think Rios survives it though, hes quite tough. UD Castillo

Bam Bam Rios too stationary for JLC and would get broken down late. Not that Rios is a bad fighter it's just that JLC was a different fighter in his prime.
