Awesome fight I cant say who would win its a 50/50 situation. Diaz has that work rate but can he stand Castillos pressure and his short uppers? Castillos best strategy would be to kill the body and catch him in the later rounds. Diaz never been stoped before thats why I think it would be a brutal 12 rounder for both.

Prime Castillo stops the Baby Cow in 10. It'd be man against boy.

Diaz's workrate would be blunted by Castillo's strenth and power. If Nate Campbell can outfight Diaz on the inside, you bet your ass Castillo would have mauled him. Theres no way this a 50/50 fight.

People forget how good Castillo was at lightweight. Forget the Corrales fights, he was better in 2001 when he crushed Cesar Bazan. JL was a beast at 135, and would have beaten Diaz BADLY.

Diaz could jump out to early lead in this one, but I see Castillo, once he establishes a firm foothold on the inside, brutalising Diaz down the stretch to take a clear decision.

Castillo would like someone coming straight at him.

castillo would break him. that power and infighting skills were just top of the line. a great fighter imo.

diaz "only" a very good one.

Castillo TKO 9-10. Inside work too much for Diaz.
