similar to a couple of threads i did last week, except this match up is between the 2004/2005 castillo&the current pacquiao, obviously this would be a bloody war,but who do u favour the bigger stronger castillo or the faster sharper pacquiao?:good personally i like castillo by close decision due to his better work on the inside, although it could either way.
i would still favor the 2004 castillo who fought diego coralles since pacquiao is not yet fully proven at this weight. but of course i would not bet against pacquiao.
Interesting match up, I will take a prime Castillo by UD or late TKO. He can deal with Pacquiao's power no problem and I don't think the speed would be much of a problem as Mayweather has quicker feet and hands, and Castillo won that fight right.
not really on my card. i had the first fight 113-113 draw with deductions on each side. castillo did a good job from mid to the latter rounds but he gave away the first 4 rounds to floyd.
It would be a brilliant fight, but I'd take Pacquiao by late stoppage. He would repeatedly catch Castillo on the way in, with headshots, and that would gradually grind Castillo down, til Pac would open up and go for it around the 9th or 10th. It would be over by the 11th, and be a Fight Of The Year contender IMO.
Oh jesus, I knew people would be overrating the living hell outta Manny in this matchup. Castillo by late TKO.
JLC is a very underrated boxer here he's no David Diaz. He's to good to big and strong for Pac and would stop him late.
believe it or not Pac is also very underrated on ESB. Noone is expecting him to thrash Castillo like he demolished Diaz but Pac is a great fighter, much faster and much more complete than Castillo and still has some good pop at lightweight. To top it off Castillo has a style that is tailor made for Pac. Castillo was great at what he did and could beat any fighter on his day but at the end of the day Pac is better than Castillo ever was.
