Jose Luis Castillo vs Miguel Cotto Who Woulda won?

Pre broken by Maragarito Cotto took alot of chances & was willing to stand & trade with no fear... Castillo would have no problem trading bombs with Miguel.

At the time Cotto's size @140 & speeed might have been his only advantage here but Castiilo would be more than equipped to handle anything Miguel has/had on the inside.

Toss up, IMO

Cotto wins that fight to fresh at the time, Castillo was on his way down. Cotto did beat good names at 140, fighter like Torres, Mallignaggi, still capable and near his prime versions of Bailey and Corley. Dagerous N'dou that was robbed against the number two rated at that time Mitchell. And dangerous prospects with pop like Pinto and Abdullaev and mayyyybe Maussa. A green Cotto fought N'dou and faded but not shot Bazan, that a very solid list for me.

 

I want to say Cotto . But Castillo punching power was too devastating . I have a hard time seeing Miguel last the distance with Castillo .

Make no mistake about it , Castillo going to get rocked pretty good in this one , but Hes lays Cotto out flat on his back in 6 .

 

Castillo wears him down and gets him on his bike then stops him late.

Shane was cleary outboxed by Cotto . Shane gave a great fight but Cotto got the best of him that night .
