Lujan will maul Castillo. He's too small for 147 and Lujan is quite heavy at that weight. Plus as stated he's shot.
Lets not jump the guy yet its not like Lujan is a world beater. This is the same guy who had his ear hanging off when Margarito beat him like he owed him money,Lujan got KOed by a bum in 2 rounds the next fight at 147. Castillo is shot but hes always had a punch.
Yes me . . . I'm giving him benefit of the doubt . . . sentimental favorite. Lujan is not really a heavy puncher . . . and If Castillo can come in without having problem with the weight . . . he can still be competitive by winning rounds after rounds by boxing . . . via decission.
I'm hesitant to make a pick in this fight. If Castillo came back partially or even fully re-energized at a higher weight class it wouldn't be the first time in the history of the sport something like that has happened. As a Duran fan I know that all too well. Part of me already agrees with you, psychopath. It's not like Lujan has a sterling record to show for himself either. He's far from unbeatable.
I hate it when the vets can't let it go. I hate to see these guys having to go out on their shield. Call it a day already. I hope Castilly doesn't get hurt.
This is a shot in the dark, idn'it? I have no how these two have looked in their last outing(s). JLC was obviously decprepid leading up to his last one. Didn't see it though.
