I think that loopy, semi slow Margarito jab gets countered all night long by a very, very (coulda been great if not for ill discipline) Lopez right hand. Beat the hell outa James Page who looked like a LHW and walked through everything Quartey through at him. Victory staring him in the face in both fights but didn't have the gas in the tank to finish either off. Wears Tony down and TKO 11.

Now that is an interesting matchup! Prime Margarito was pretty hard to hurt, so I am not so sure about a stoppage. But, if Lopez was on his game, he very well could win this.

It would be an entertaining scrap for sure. Much better than most of the garbage being shown today.

What ever happened to Lopez, anyway? Prison? He just disappeared.

    Good match-up!

I really, really liked JLL, thought he had huge things in his future.

And I really dislike Margo after the revelations on his gloves. I always wonder if the Cotto victory was real.

So, for reasons that might be not the best, I am picking Lopez. Lopez seemed to go into a torpor at times only to be awakened into a fury. I think he starts a bit faster against Margo. He was more a sharp shooter and faster in this match-up. I say he busts up Margo, is more effective and maybe even drops him on the way to a decision.

Liked surfing and weed more than boxing. Can you really blame him? Had a comeback a few years back. One of the great recent "could have been" stories...

JLL was fun to watch but he spent lots of time inactive in fights and would get into a hole points-wise.

Lopez was a brutal puncher....but was somewhat lackadaisical. Margarito's relentless pressure could well see him outwork him. BUT Margo would have to come through Hell to do so.

Margarito was a non stop punching machine while Lopez threw punches like each cost him money, both have great chins so i dont see nobody getting stopped here, great match up and would most likely be a great fight but IMO Margarito outworks Lopez for a decision win 9 times out of ten.

JLL had Page in all sorts at the end of the 3rd. Great combos. He may have got him outa there if the bell hadn't saved Page. Page had every advantage and JLL still got him. I know I am being presumptuous but what if JLL had come into this fantasy match up prepared and in shape? Green man might be right that Tonys pressure might have trumped JLL combos due to his inactivity in middle rounds. At some point Jose would find his chin like Moseley did and then what? This is one that would have paid good money ppv or a seat.
