Ah. Arguello at 130, pick 'em at lightweight, Chavez at 140.

 

While I agree with this 2 extent , Chavez enjoyed gifts while Ramirez suffered from gifts given on his expense .
Chavez vs LaPorte (and i still need 2 woch de Lockridge fight sometime)
whereas Ramirez never lost 2 Arguello , Whitaker and Rosario .

Chavez , Camacho , Arguello , Olivares , Rosario*2 , Whitaker*2 , Mancini , Coggi .

It is really like he fought 3 careers so his career is like a 3 decent modern fighters' careers both in fights vs very good 2 gr8 and also in terms of lesser fighters , so in terms of quotient it turns out not any more padded than Carl Froch's career which I consider rel8ively not padded .

Would Ramirez have needed gifts over both LaPorte and Lockridge ?

I think the Laporte fight was much closer than the Lockridge fight. Maybe. I'd have to rewatch them.

I didn't know you didn't think much of Floyd. Or maybe you like Arguello a lot. Either way yes, Ramirez was much better (against a better fighter) against Arguello than Castillo was against Floyd.

 

Floyd's biggest win is Miguel Cotto, 4 what its worth.
Floyd is unproven, and if he got tested 1/3 of what Arguello got tested, then while he might had prevailed on 1 occasion, he would have lost his share as well and retired at n earlier age or just become cannon fodder .

Floyd avoided : Pacquiao, Paul Williams, Margachito, Cotto and even Cintron during their primes @ 147. De public pays 2 woch **** so de pablik get 2c ****
