But not exactly clueless either. He could pick shots off with either hand and shoot his accurate counter punches off, and knew how to take the edge off shots. He also had a solid chin and massive heart, not the kinda' guy I can pick to be stopped in a hypothetical matchup.

If I didn't know who you were describing the last few pages, I might've guessed Maidana ;-)

Arguello was an amazing fighter, don't get why my man has got so much disdain for him.

But I still don't like him against Napoles.

Not any more. I've made my pick, admittedly something of a leap of faith, but I have committed myself to the view that Arguello turns him into a bloody mess and forces a late halt. I think that titanium chin of Napoles would make Jose excessively disdainful of Alexis, thus exposing that tender skin to Arguello's particular brand of pugilistic surgery. Alexis didn't have to stun somebody to rip his face apart, as Navarrete, Limon and others found out. He was so proficient at opening cuts, and Napoles so vulnerable to sustaining them, that I feel Arguello makes him pay for this particular weakness. Alexis has the height and reach here.

itry hates the classic boxers, only the fruity dancing ballet masters appeal to his questionable ring sexuality :hey.

Okay, I've found some of Arguello-Busceme. Alexis didn't get hit much in this one, despite being faced with a fast and mobile southpaw cutie who attacked him very aggressively at times with multiple elbow flicking southpaw jabs. El Flaco Explosivo wasn't some sort of motionless iron chinned statue at his peak, but somebody who actively ducked, blocked and stepped back from punches. (I would like to see the entirety of Tim Ryan's and Gil Clancy's original call of their match on CBS, rather than listen to a loud Spanish language voice over, including Bubba's post fight interview where he admitted that Arguello was a little quicker than expected.)

I know you like them 'rock' hard, replete with chest hair and a husky foreign accent. Don't run away, just embrace it.;)

What? You're ****ing kidding me, I never realised a top-level championship fighter was actually able to avoid punches by blocking or moving his head, ****, I've been totally exposed here.

Styles make fights and even amongst ATGs there are often class gaps which result in one-sided beatings. Why does everyone have to go and throw a tantrum and claiming I'm showing some sort of disrespect/under-rating etc. just because I predicted an easy win? Napoles is much bigger and stronger at the weight, a more skilled operator in pretty much all respects and holds all the physical edges. Is all this really that disgusting? Pryor/Arguello was only going to end one way in any case.

Get out and **** some more bitches you stressy lot.

Arguello is very powerful at 135 but, too stiff, slow and lacks foot-speed.... I see Joe Naps being too slick and getting a boring points win over Arguello.... Arguello never really hurt or shaken, just out-boxed by Naps.....

You rate the fruity, dancing ballet masters. You don't rate the classic boxers.
