I think that curry has a good chance here. Before he lost to honeygan he was an absolute beast who could box, punch and had one of the best defences in welterweight history.

Napoles was also an excellent boxer puncher who was very sound defensively but he also had a penchant for cuts.

In my opinion this would be a toss up.

Certainly if Jose comes at Donald with the unusual Venom he diplayed against Adolph Pruitt then i can only see one winner. Donald was like a beautiful crystal chandelier of a fighter, he Gleemed and Glinted with pure class, many of his opponents were hesitant with awe.....Napoles....Leonard....Hearns....these guys are not awestruck...or hesitant ...and they bring a good hammer....Don gets Cracked then Shattered, It might look like te Honeyghan fight, but with Don having no Weight excuses.

 

Curry had greatness on a silver platter and failed to deliver.

Napoles is arguably the greatest ww champ in history.
