Lost his belt against Gervonta Davis in brutal fashion.
    suffered through Hurricane Maria.

Then came back from a 13 month hiatus, beating mexican journeyman Jose Luis Rodriguez and then beating Antonio Moran in a tough fight. Pedraza defeated Beltran to claim the WBO and now he will unify with the pound for pound number 1 fighter in the sport.

Hats off to Jose ''Sniper'' Pedraza! :chuck:

I believe that Pedraza will be the first person to have faced both Davis and Lomachenko.

Yep, been a fan. Even the Davis fight he started getting into it for a few rounds and was doing well. Davis was just a bit too fast/powerful for him.

Pedraza got used to the speed and power. So he started timing Davis.
But he also kept standing in front of Davis.
    Horrible gameplan.

He did the same mistake with Beltran. That's why Beltran won a round.

Pedraza did well against Davis, stunned him at one point when he was making the chicken noises then he decided not to make the chicken noises and he was stopped.

He knows what he needs to do in a rematch.

Pretty sure a certain ‘gypsy king’ would deserve it if he goes into the new year as WBC world heavyweight champion.

But all credit to Pedraza.pleased for him,he is a hard fight for anyone and even though styles make fights I still think this shows Gervonta has a lot to offer considering how sensational he looked beating him.

Gervonta is a real star in the making.
