I can't call it just yet. But the favourite can only be Taylor. Nevertheless, this is the next fight for Jose Ramirez and for Josh Taylor. there is no way on God's green Earth I would accept either of them fighting anyone but each other. As poor and shallow 140 is, I respect that the best are fighting each other time and time again. Terrence Crawford unified all the titles and moved up and it looks like all the titles are going to be unified again very soon. Other divisions please take note and stop beating around the bush.
Ramierz holds a bit more size and is a better match up against Taylor on paper than Prograis was. I think it would be a similar style fight to what we witnessed over the weekend. Josh controlled the pace of the fight, when he wanted it at close quarters he walked down Prograis and went head to head, when he wanted a breather, he easily held Prograis at bay with movement and jabs. Really good fight from Taylor, he is a true throw back fighters.
Thought the little hobbit gave club fighter Taylor a beating and so will Jose. Imagine Club fighter Taylor vs Crawford Would be like Sugar Ray Leonard vs Dickie Eklund, except more of a beating
What? I don´t get this sudden hate for Taylor. He clearly isn´t as good as Crawford, so now a lot of people are making him out to be a bum. It´s like they are threatened by Taylor. Same **** with Usyk at heavyweight.
Usyk is a boss Taylor is just domestic level Can't believe the British ppl hyping him up its embarrassing Ffs top 10 p4p whaaaaat!!!!!!!!!
Ramirez struggled with Zepeda, a southpaw, badly. While Taylor doesn't control range as well as Zepeda does, he definitely hits as hard and has a far better inside game, so he'd make Ramirez pay at range and in close. Not sure if he can stop Jose, but it wouldn't shock me if he did. One way or another, The Tartan Tornado would have his hand raised in victory at the end.
JCR's a great guy and I really like and rate him. However, when Kalle came a knocking asking him if he wanted some WBSS action he was like ''no way, Jose'' as soon as Kalle informed him that Jockachenko and Rougarou had already been confirmed for the tourney. He said I got some smaller fish to fry outside the competition with my soon to be surrogate father Jose Zepeda and then when my judges rob him I got my sights locked on Jockachenko's worst best win's (Ohara D) son Maurice Hooker who in addition to getting sparked out in the gym by Ohara also had a much tougher time with Turbo Terry that Rougarou did. Jockachenko has only had 16 fights but he's already beaten Rougarou 24-0 WBA champ Baranchyk 19-0 IBF champ Postol 29-1 former WBC champ Vasquez 39-5 former IBF 135 champ Martin 22-0 Davies 15-0 <<Sparked out Ramirez's best win Hooker in the gym Ramirez's best win by the time he was 16-0 is probably Johnny Garcia who was 0-2-1 in his last 3 fights and was coming off a KO loss to Cletus Seldin. And Garcia dropped Ramirez (coincidentally it was JCR's 16th fight) Timestamped This content is protected Jockachenko has never been off of his feet even at the top level let alone against journeymen because he has iron British mandible. None of the other champions at 140 and 147 resumes come close to Jockachenko's when they were at the same stages of their career as he is now. In fact, his resume after 16 fights>>all of theirs combined. This content is protected
Taylor ain't stopping Ramirez. Ramirez, if nothing else, has one of the best chins in boxing. Are we forgetting that Taylor couldn't put away Baranchyk? And Baranchyk doesn't have the best chin. I think Taylor will win a competitive decision over Ramirez, in a fight where Ramirez gives him more trouble than many expect.
