    good title defense. hooker is busy and the others are in the tournament. so in the meantime this is good a fighter to fight.

    It's not a good title defense any way you try and paint it. There are better 140 pounders that aren't in the WBSS that he can fight.

    Ffs how has this guy Beltran got another shot at the belt, absolute joke the way some of these fighters get back into contention without beating anyone.

    i cant argue with that. ideal situation he would be in the tourney. but hes not and now there all busy. beltran is a good fighter and is not a bad defense especially considering the circumstances and whos available

    If they were the same size, this would be competitive. But Ramirez is massive for this weight and Beltran's style isn't suited to deal with guys so bigger than him. I guess JCR had to play safe this time around after the last gift he received. He can't afford another fight like that, back to back.
