Short clips, but good showcase for Torres's fast hands and technical completeness. Looks good at all ranges in these clips, upstairs and down.

If you check out nothing else, check out the KD versus Pastrano. Horrible.

Was really high on him not long ago and still one of my fav light heavies to watch...One of the best left hooks at the body Ive seen from a man at that weight. Hurts to watch.

You can see where Tyson got part of the style from can't you? Very good, precise technical aggressor was Jose (good at every range like you said). Didn't like it back too much though, as Fernandez and Tiger showed. Pastrano was slipping a fair bit by this point - I'd have backed him to win a close decision at his best, though Torres always had the style to trouble him.

Poor old Bobo seems to get remembered for this sort thing ie being the unfortunate target of great offensive machines. He was something like the number 3 contender here but didn't really belong in the ring with Torres at this point in his career. Ruthless stuff from Torres though.

I like Torres. He doesn't do too much wrong but as previously stated he was vulnerable to a degree, and I think that makes him suffer in 'ATG' matchups.

    But what hooks.
