I will bump this thread as long as it needs to have some good specualtions about this fight in here :twisted:
Generally I dont think Tarver matches to well against most of the ATG's at the weight. But I have only seen Torres against Tiger, so Im not really qualified to give a good analysis of this bout.
Torres wears him down with his steady body punching and stops Tarver before the final bell. Tarver doesn`t take it too good to the midsection and Torres was one of the best bodypunchers the lightheavyweight division has produced, and with his tight defensive guard he would be a hard target for Tarver to hit back with a solid blow. Tarver`s height and southpaw stance may prove troublesome for a few rounds, but Jose will figure him out soon enough and take over the fight from then onwards.
