    Mares comes forward and gets jabbed in the belly. Mares tries to answer back but hits Agbeko in the cup yet again with his stretch-over left hooks and torpedo right hands. Now a high left hook by Mares, thrown at the same time as one of Agbeko's and landing much harder to back the champion up. Agbeko is giving ground and jabbing less. Mares walks right onto a hard-thrust jab, flattening his nose. Agbeko gains some confidence and starts jabbing Mares in the stomach again, coming forward. Mares hangs back and tries to time and slip some jabs by jerking his shoulders back. Agbeko flips out a jab from the hip and barely recoils in time as Mares comes swooping in with a low-cutting left hook that just crashes against the bottom of his chest.


    Not a whole lot separating them there, but Abner had the best single punch by far.

    KK has a nice jab he should throw it more. mares lands the left hook at will. I like the harder punches from mares in rd 3 close fight tho.

    Stylisticly, Mares vs. Donaire intrigues me much more than Agbeko vs. Donaire.

    Commentary is a tad misleading. Agbeko made an adjustment and Mares seems confused and tentative. Still a close round. Mares is landing the eye catching shots, Agbeko the nice jab and body shot.

    Mares has cleaned up on the low blows now. He was destroying Agbeko's nutsack for 3 rounds.

    More low blows from Mares

    Agbeko was getting hammered with low blows, I think Joeseph won the cleaner blows but Mares dictated the pace and held the action

    Damn Agbeko gets it in the balls and the ref warms him 3 times not to push mares down. The replay showed there was no pushing down.
