I wont post the link to my interview with him incase I get booted (!) but he told me that he reckons he'd beat Darchinyan any time they fight. He wants a rematch with Perez and this time he'll be better prepared. Then he wants Montiel unification before jumping up to featheweight. Do you guys rate him? Is he still going to be a force?
Yeah he can become a champion again for sure. Has decent fundamentals and can mix with the best of them and uses his head real well!
The Perez fight was excellent and well worth YouTubeing if you haven't seen it... Anyone else see him on the Julius Francis vs Luke Simpkin undercard in a Isle of Dog's Hotel undercard? About 10 years ago now He was also meant to fight in Leicester Square's Equinox around 8 years ago but went missing whilst under contract to Frank Warren :nono
I would say he is better than Perez, who I thought he beat. And not as good as Moreno, Montiel or Hasegawa
They can do a tourney without structuring it like the super six and getting them to commit for 2 years. HBO are basically running a tourney at 140. Anyway Agbeko is a lil badass, really tough little fighter with decent fundamentals as Mandanda says and who makes for great fights.
i like the super 6 set up and like how long it runs for. People are just getting on Butes **** as all the tourney haters know he is a way to shut it down.
