Not that Juicy J and Whyte are too great.

Usyk will box their ears off

Hell no it wasn't even a gift.

Fury got spanked all over the ring

Can't wait to see JP spank Chisora all over the ring.

Someone said Fa could be a UK opponent but the thing is none of their prospects would beat him. Plus top tier guys might not want an ugly boring fight.

My 2cents on last nights fight.

Parker was a bit ragged and reckless but he showed way more intent in this fight which is what I always wanted from him. I'm sure he will get back his form soon but he needs to keep that intent.

Fa looked bloody decent. His speed, balance and footwork are probably better than everyone bar Fury and Usyk.

I mean you guys like with 1 of the 3 attributes better but not all 3. AJ is a lot quicker but very stiff and can't pivot like Fa.

Fa is just a bit soft, and doesn't put enough on his shots to stop iron chinned guys coming forward.
He did get Joe's attention a few times but if he actually put his weight behind his shots he might have made him think twice.

I like Fa but it's too late to get that killer instinct.

David Nyika is the future of NZ boxing, will be a big deal in the future and he"s a good talker too.

Parker next faces a guy that actually COMES TO FIGHT

I will judge him by his Chisora performance - not this hugfest

Total smothering tactics should be banned from the sport

The fact that the hugging semi-succeeded is the real nightmare. Wlad was good at it too - but at least he went for knockouts. Fa did not.

This is not the sport of "hugging". No-one can tell me that is "good boxing".

Apart from Fury and Maybe Joshua they are all a pretty average lot....Could beat each other on any given day.!!!

Course he can be judged on this fight

Fa came to spoil and Parker had no other plan to negate it

Same as when he fought Hughie Fury

So to fight Parker you have to walk forward with your chin up in the air?

How about Parker and your boy Barry actually work on resolving his flaws. He never lands his punches cleanly, if he had done that last night it would have killed Fa's willingness to clinch. There was no deterrent for Fa so he just kept doing it.

Yes - Parker does need a Plan B.

But there are guys (like Wlad) who simply excel at tying guys up in clinches. Hugging them to death.

The best at that game can get away with it all night long.

I remember when people used to get excited about watching the heavyweights but more often then not we get 1 sided match ups or snorefests like we got last night.
Parker seems so 1 dimensional and doesnt ever seem to have a plan B but luckily for him most of the heavyweights outside the top few arent much better.

You can not put Fa in the same bracket as Wlad

No - except you have to admit he has the clinch part down pat.

And he is the same size and weight - to get away with it.

And he'll be on the backfoot from the opening bell, and pitty pat him to a controversial MD, and look thoroughly underwhelming.
