Parker has zero killer instinct, just not a natural fighter. Any decent world level fighter would have stopped Chisora easily last night. He still has the heart but is completely shot now and already slurring his words at 37. If Chisora was a few years younger he'd destroy Parker.

So you’re saying that it wasn’t the ‘thrilling fight’ that the BBC reported?!

Parker gets too friendly with other fighters. He chose to get on with Whyte before the fight and got headbutted for his trouble. He has breakfast with Del before their first fight, FFS, and we had the usual burger-fest afterwards too.

Del clearly knew this because after each knockdown he sauntered to a corner with no guard up and after the ref had waved him on, knowing Parker wouldn't do a cheap shot or rush back in. He probably gained 5-10 seconds to clear his head before Parker came forward. And each time the commentators fell for that trick with Del throwing something, prompting "oh what a comeback". Only for Parker to take the next round off, still win it, and repeat the knockdown shortly after.

Fights like this say more about the heavyweight division than the fighters.

I never listened to boxing on the radio so I was looking forward to Mike Costello on DAZN as he almost universally had great praise on here. He must have been brilliant on 5Live as he’s absolutely dire on TV. I still think he’s, just about, better than Adam Smith but his tub thumping, hooray for everything Matchroom commentary and his need to find the reason why (Matchroom) fighters deserve to win because of previous life hardships gets right on my nerves. Harry Carpenter and Reg Gutteridge must be spinning so fast in their graves they must be halfway to Australia.

People are nitpicking Parker's performance I think.
    He did good.
Chisora isn't good but Parker did a job on him, whatever anyone says.

Hearn said other day that Chisora v Pulev fight could have went either way on scorecards. Casuals will believe such nonsense.

Can only think of Fury who has beat him up more over the course of a fight tbh.

Glad to see you're out of jail.

It was a good fight. Chisora is knocking on the door of being shot now but he still gave Parker a hard 12 rounds, who as we know very well by now couldn't finish a chocolate pudding.

It was a much better fight than expected with a huge improvement in Parker and a seriously noticeable decline in Chisora. An absolute shut out on any judging card with a shred of integrity.

One of the best remarks I've ever read on here!

Although I am with Mr aaaa on this one. I even prefer Smith over this guy!

    Thank you very much.

The problem with Chisora is that he makes people work (although Fury was able to absolutely breeze past him the second time around) but so does a 10k run for a club runner. You know that to run a decent time you'll have to dig in a bit, but you know that you'll do it. It's a bit similar with Chisora. Any decent boxer will know that with a bit of digging in they will win.

It looks a better one than the first but I can't bring myself to watch a replay of it.

This has typically been true of Chisora but the version I saw last night would get stopped in the first half by any serious contender with a decent punch. Wilder would have blasted him out in 1-2 rounds, Joyce would have ground him down in 4-6. Parker's inability to stop this version of Chisora and the fact that Chisora landed so many punches and pushed Parker so hard is yet more evidence that Parker is a complete no-hoper at elite level. Yet Parker's stock on this forum appears to have risen!

In the immediate aftermath, Fast Eddie was even talking about making Wilder-Chisora and claimed that shot to bits Chisora would win "if it went past 4 rounds". The ride never ends!
