    Leapai shat it from Gorman.

Well he definitely has heavy hands. That's about the only danger he poses however. Slow, poor chin, poor stamina, short reach. But yes, if he cracks you in the chin you'll feel it.

I guess so. I didn't think much of Molina as an opponent so I guess it doesn't really matter who replaces him TBH. At least Leapai can crack, not that that will help him last more than a round or two.

Yeah, there's about a one percent chance of Leapai winning, and I wish that was an exaggeration.

I expect this to be over in under a round personally.

Odd fight to have in the States..seems more fitting in Australia or NZ. Whilst I agree it ain't much of a stepdown from the drummer boi, at least Molina is a murican who has fought on murican T.V a few times.
This fight was mostly to showcase Parker to a murican audience one would think.

Leapai at his best wouldn't have a hope. Now its a worrying mismatch.

There would be more money and less shame in being beaten up by Parker, Gorman is pretty unknown outside of the UK.

Yes but it was a shameless duck. Accepting the fight and then backing out. Getting beaten by Parker and being beaten the hell up by Gorman are two separate things. Gorman would have ended him.

Is Leapai the only active boxer with a punch named after him? The Samoan Bowler :risas3:

As I said above, Gorman may prove to be almost as (or possibly even as) dangerous as Parker - but the name and the money will be less, so may as well get a more meaningful pay day if you are going to get beaten up.

Following the same idea, Molina - who is better than Leapai in ranking and reputation ducked Parker because losing to Parker will actually have something to lose, while Leapai has nothing to lose against Parker but something to lose against Gorman who has not got the same reputation.

I knew Joe went to the states to fight but of all the heavyweight boxers out there, he somehow manages to dig up Leapai?!

It's no different from facing Molina tbh.

Despite the fight being on the other side of the world, it's good to see two of Samoa's best ever HWs go at it despite it being a rather one sided contest these days. It would have been a decent step up fight for Parker in 2014/2015.

@IntentionalButt loving the name 'Explosive Joseph' that you wrote on your poll. Hope it reaches Joe and he keeps it.
