Hughie seems to have around for years and I'm still wondering what kind of chin he has? Against Parker, it may well be the first time it will be tested.

Parker will surprise many with his aggression and power this time.

    Think "DIMITRENKO". Tall. Lanky. Gone.

I agree with this... don't know about the stoppage part. Only think that might factor into my pick is the judging. Made a post earlier about how Parker is a bit like the HW Saunders.

    I watched Parker-Ruiz.

Is it just me, or is Parker's footwork really bad?

It's not just you. His footwork is shocking. There is a lot he does wrong, but that's top of my list.

    !!!
As a few posters have mentioned about Parkers footwork. If you don't see Hughies use of the ring in those highlights than I don't know what to say. Hughie will be literally walk rings around Parker, and jab the hell out of him with ease.

Parker likes chopping down tall trees.

Unless Hughie has 'magically' found power he has previously never had he is a sitting duck for a highlight reel KO.

I'm not doubting Parker has the speed advantage. I'm doubting his footwork to get up and close to Hughie though.

Hughie is a whiz ambling clear of D level opponents and controlling range enough to barely get hit while landing pot shots from outside. He isn't exactly moving with the speed or grace of a welterweight himself, though. He's a big lad, that's a lot of bulk, and what seems to be slick and quick footwork versus cab drivers may prove to be an illusion when a hungry young athletic phenom comes barreling toward him with single-minded determination to retain his titles by any means necessary (preferably removing the officials from the equation in hostile territory)

He moves around like Tyson(Awkward as hell and very hard to time), for a 1 dimensional come forward slugger, that's an appetite for destruction. His chins not been tested yet, because nobody can get close to him. Same can be said with Tyson, bar his showing off to SC and getting sloppy. Parker has faced nobody like Hughie before, he's not even sparred this style because its pretty unique. I've no doubt Parker has the speed and power advantage in this bout, timing is all Hughies I'm afraid and he'll see Parker in slow motion.

There are two likely outcomes - Parker by KO or Fury on points.

Parker could win on points if he can widely dominate 10 or 11 rounds and knock Fury down 4 or 5 times - that may be enough to sneak a 115-113.

Tyson Fury as overrated as I feel he was did show a great deal more speed zipping around the ring than his cousin has shown against lesser opposition.

Hughie to me has the better jab and works the body more effectively (and might have the better chin, time will tell, but I lean towards bekueveibg he does. Then again I always found Tyson's very lacking. Hughie's is at least 'okay whereas Tyson's was below average) but has lesser stamina and not quite the swanlike glide of Tyson, despite being svelter.
