He'll need those KD's to win a clear decision because Hughie is by far the superior boxer. I'm not writing Parker off, he's got that speed and power which can KO any HW out there today. He's just in Povetkin's shoes, in this day and age he's a smallish HW.

He only started to do that after his opposition got more serious, as Parker is clearly a serious threat, you'll see a serious Hughie no doubt. Like Tyson used to love a scrap, and try and KO everybody. He's not got the power for that, neither does Hughie. Boxing on the back foot, is their bread and butter. Hughie on the offensive is not the FURY style. Throwing jabs out and moving left to right is.

A lot to learn about how Hughie steps up a level too. If Hughie steps up to a level anywhere near his cousin then he'll dominate the fight from range and Parker will struggle to land all night.

If Fury can tag him early and get Parker's attention it will put him in great stead. I get the feeling Parker is the type of guy who won't risk being KO'd walking through punches if they are damaging him.

Hughie has some of the best uppercuts in boxing today. They will come in handy when Parker gets too close. Speaking of those uppercuts, I've no doubt Parker has a decent beard, I don't think with his past stamina issues he'll like some of the bombs which will be hitting his midriff. Especially not in the later rounds, when he's down on the cards looking for the KO.

What worries me is Hughie hasn't really been tested. He boxed wellish against Rudenkio but Rudenkio had no idea how to fight him and looked like he wasn't really interested in finding out..

Otherwise he is pretty much unknown..

Parker on the other hand has been in hard fights before so we know he has the drive to get through.. He has alot of problems and his power didn't really upgrade to the top level but he is fast and throws good combinations..

Fury can run all fight but that won't (lol) win him a decision and I don't think he has the pop to trouble Parker..

It will all come down on Fury's ability to outbox Parker without taking any damage and at this stage I am leaning toward him not being able to do it..

Hughie's personal referee will help protect Hughie...........................Parker can get a knockout, but doubt if Fury's referee will allow it....................

I think the ref will be under too much scrutiny to misbehave....

Cant really call this fight and I'm completely on the fence. Hughie is still relatively unknown and still has many questions left unanswered. Parker isn't fantastic and his best win so far is probably a MD over Ruiz, again still unknown really. We will find the answers we are all looking for after the fight and see how they fit into the top 10. Best of luck to both men.

This is not a very high profile fight... also you have way too much faith in O'Connor..... We're talking about the guy who literally cared Cleverly to his corner against Kovalev when he was out of it.

I don't think so, nobody will be watching the fight as it's not televised and nobody is attending the event.

They might as well be fighting in Hughie's gym.

Poll stands in 2:1 favor of the defending WBO champion. (4 votes to Parker on points, 18 to Parker by stoppage. Ten for a Fury decision, just one by stoppage- nobody gone for the draw)
