I do see why people favour Parker over Fury as we've yet to see Hughie at his best. I think we've seen Parker peak already. I do think Hughie's stock will rise tremendously after this bout. I think most people will see him as the 2nd best HW out there today, that's how highly I rate his skills.

Everything about this fight has felt so half-assed that I'm starting to think it will end up to be a total barn burner.

Considering the circumstances I don't think Parker will be able to win by decision. He may be able to win more rounds than Hughie but in Manchester with guys like O'Connor as judge, it will take more than that to get the decision. Whilst I think Parker's a good fighter I don't see him as a big hitter. Hughie's chin hasn't been tested yet but I think he may be able to survive the distance and win on points here.

Parker knows he has to get Huggie outta there, and unlike Golovkin last weekend I think he will.
if it goes to the cards Fury will win by SD.

Hughie Fury is the 2nd best HW out there right now? Are you on crack?

He isn't even top 3 in the UK, and that isn't even including his cousin.

I really want Parker to win as I think that would be good for the division. Parker is more marketable and brings fans from New Zealand.

I have had a feeling since this fight was announced that Hughie will outbox Parker though. I think Hughie is better than Ruiz who Parker very surprisingly to me struggled with.

He toys with Whyte, Chisora and current Dubois.
This is my list of best HW's right now.
    (Tyson) if he returns.
    AJ
Hughie(I think he beats everybody beneath him, disagree if you want. We'll see after this weekend who is right)
    Povetkin
    Pulev
    Parker
    Ortiz
    Whyte
    Miller
    Wilder

Fury can outwork him, not sure about outbox. The better jab alone can't beat vastly superior combination punching (and tidier punching technique in general, along with greater hand speed), unless we literally see a replay of Hughie's cuz versus Doc Steel-Hammer, which seems a long shot. Parker doesn't have weary old legs worn down from three decades in the sport, with his youthful hunger mostly faded after enjoying a long reign and lapsing into relative complacency (as much as Wlad can be deemed complacent, despite still being a consummate gym rat in his forties). Parker will throw himself at Fury and do whatever it takes in order to force exchanges, and Fury doesn't strike me as having quite the same "lighter on his feet than he looks" quality his more famous relative did, able to flit away from every single Parker charge the way Tyson did from Wlad, scotch-free, absorbing no damage.

You're entitled to your opinion, I'm entitled to mine.
You probably have Wilder as the number 1 HW or something. Let me see your top ten HW's, I need a LOL myself.

Parker by stoppage or Hughie on points is how this is shaping up.

It's one or the other. I've put a lot of thought into it but don't have a clear winner.

With his lack of recent activity, Hughie might fade late.

You know what throws me? I'd favor Parker outright to get the KO if not for his most recent outing, his first WBO title defense. Literally nobody thought he impressed despite comfortably outpointing Răzvan Cojanu. The large & strong yet plodding & cumbersome, neither-great-nor-terrible-in-any-one-facet-of-the-game Romanian seemed to make Parker work almost just as hard on the night for his verdict as did recognizable name-brand commodities in Ruiz Jr. & Takam. Baffling.

Cojanu is the same guy, to wit, that got sparked out by a single overhand right from Donovan "National Level Glass Cannon" Dennis a couple of years ago on BoxCino. The same guy that only squeaked past Grover Young (that's right, the same Grover Young against whom Sergey Kovalev picked up the first blemish on his pro record, a sordid tale you can read about here: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/sergey-kovalev-is-hated-even-in-russia.534940/#post-17043102 - and the same Grover Young that has now ballooned into a morbidly obese tomato can at heavyweight) via mere split decision - and recently, at that! The same guy that almost got KO1ed in his seventh pro match by a New Zealand no-mark who came in with a padded 7-0-1 and never set foot in the ring again.

HOW DID PARKER CARRY HIM TWELVE?!?!?! Not even so much as one knockdown. Defies logic.
