Joseph Joyce born 10/19/1985 is a 6'6 Heavyweight with a 4-0 4 KO record. Born in and fighting out of London, England. Joe as he likes to be called recently won the Gold Medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games, just like his hero and inspiration Lennox Lewis. Could JJ be the next AJ? He's huge he has pretty good stamina he works behind his jab quite well, he has relatively fast hands for a big man, he tends to bounce around a little too much, wasting his energy unnecessarily but his footwork is decent, he gets hit way too much, which is troubling since he has been knocked out before. That's no reason to write him off many HW's are stopped in the ams, so its not that big of a deal. Overall he has a lot of potential to build on, not sure about the power yet, but with a little tweaking here and there he could be turned into a Tyson Fury, a skilled but slightly feather fisted big man. He's gunning for Gold at the 2016 Olympics, and after that he says he'll entertain offers to turn pro, he'll be 30 at the time. He's beaten Hrgovic who's very good, but he lost to Usyk who's very very good if that gives you an indication of what his level may be. In his personal life he paints in his spare time and is a big fan of the works of Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh. So Check Out this British Renaissance Man In Action. :ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

Hes a great athlete, he'd still have time to do something, if he goes pro after the olympics.

Im pretty sure he came to boxing quite late.

A Renaissance Man is "a person with many talents or areas of knowledge." Usually artsy types, Picasso was a surrealist and Van Gogh was a post-impressionist. I excelled at art in school, I'm quite well versed in it. Because I was an artsy fartsy kid. I was "Gifted" in the arts according to my art teacher.

I think he gave Usyk a pretty decent fight when you factor everything in.

I think Joyce will be part of the booming heavyweight scene after the Olympics but he wants to move along fast. An Olympic medal is no guarantee because he will be unlikely to get any gifts like Anthony Joshua did.
