What is there to forget I might ask?
Forgotten how he got his face jabbed off by an ancient Ray Austin, before catching up with him late?
Forgotten how he got schooled by Wilder, who's not a good boxer at all?
Forgotten how he needed a come from behind stoppage against shot Arreola?
Forgotten that he went life and death with Rossy, and lost it on a lot of people's cards?
Forgotten that you can make a case that he doesn't have a single legit win in almost 5 years, and only won a couple of rounds?

To be fair, Arreola wasn't shot that night. He looked a lot better than he had in the first fight.

But in all of Stivernes career, the only time he looked solid was the first Arreola fight. and some ****ers still back him.

IIRC he wasn't quite as reckless for his first few fights as a pro and he wasn't when he was in the amateurs either. He might not have been the most difficult to hit back then but now he's just ploughing forward with no concern about what's coming back at him and is leaving himself wide open as he does so. He just needs to stop doing that or he's going to come unstuck sooner or later.

Not really no. GGG was always good defensively, probably even more so before he hooked up with Sanchez.

He was more defensively responsible in his earlier career. Even in his early HBO run. Every offensive move was followed by a defensive one.
But Able doesn't really focus on defense and likely only works on the basics.

Yeah Sanchez said himself that he tweaked his style to make him even more aggressive because KOs sell and he wanted to endear him to the US audience.

JJJ's starting to become more confident and relaxed on camera and we're getting to see glimpses of his personality.

Joyce is my second favourite HW and I've backed him numerous times and sometimes to some rather mocking responses

    Really pleased for him tonight
